IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Recently, several vehicules have been forced in St. Jean Cap Ferrat.

Luckily, due to the presence of mind of an american resident who memorised
the numberplate of a car circulating at a very late hour in a street
normally deserted, the wrong doers were rapidly apprehended.

As a matter of fact, the "Gendarmerie" with the assistance of the Municipal
Police and the video supervision, were able to find the stealers in record
time and recuperate part of the stolen goods.

On this occasion, we wish to remind you that it is extremely important to
report rapidly to the Municipal Police - Tél. 04 93 76 06 46 any element
which you feel is suspect or alarming, and this during the day time as well
as at night.

as well as to your staff residing in St. Jean.

AN IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION

Just a few days ago, a member of our Association arriving in St. Jean Cap
Ferrat for a holiday, was the victim of an attempt at house breaking.

This took place round about 8 o'clock in the evening and in the presence of
the proprietors.

Fortunately, the presence of these burglars was revealed by the noise of a
metal bar being forced, and so the burglars ran off and disappeared.

We can only remind you that this type of burglary generally occurs when
owners or tenants arrive.

Easter time is particularly favourable for burglars who certainly know when
properties open up. The first days are extremely vulnerable because the
burglars count on the lack of suspicion of the new arrivals.

It is imperative to verify that openings, easily accessible, be firmly
locked or closed, (windows, french windows and all entrances), should you
be absent from the room or should this room be without an alarm.

Once again we ask you to pass on this advice to your family circle, to your
friends, neighbours or employees.
